First job of the year was this fun project.
What an amazing cast! Venus Williams, Caroline Wozniacki, Bethanie Mattek-Sands turned out to play along with some serious ball boy firepower - the #ASBClassic Ball Stars, the All Blacks.
Thanks to Flying Start, Sam Macauley, Peter Clews, Rob Marsh, James Rua, Adam Jones, Dave Gibson, Mark Storey, Renee Duncan and Adam Thompson. Toybox: Kathleen Purvis & Nanette Miles.
Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland: Claire Kelly, Charlie Godinet, Antony Wilson, Corey Chalmers, Teresa Davis and Campbell McLean.
And to ASB and Bianca Osbourne. Thank you!
Just managed to get this out the door before Christmas.
A pleasure to scout and shoot this one - beaches, beer and ice cream!
A huge thanks to James Watson, Caitlin Mitchell, Jack Hulbert - amazing talent and cold water bravers! Duncan Cole and Vince McMillan and Fraser Mckay for the pretty pictures. Hayden Shore from Woodhill Mountain Bike Park, Sean, George and David Johnston at Hallertau Brewery, James Everett at The Food Vault in Huapai - amazing staff, beautiful food that tastes as great as it looks. Shelley and the team at Juicy NZ Strawberries and the completely made on site ice cream to finish the day! And finally to Ralph and Anna Walker at Onemata and North West Country for kicking off the project.
For the lefties!
"Rebel Sport’s ... positioning allows the flexibility to explore interesting sporting facts, an athlete’s motivation or what it means to be a sportsperson in NZ," says Ogilvy executive creative director Angus Hennah. "This interesting fact comes from a French neuroscientist Guy Azemar and was published in ‘The Left Stuff’ by Melissa Roth."
Rebel Sport has effectively managed to differentiate its offering through advertising that doesn't rely solely on the standard retail approach, which focuses predominantly on price and product.
Instead, the sports company combines standard retail messaging with creative spots that serve to present the brand as an expert in the field.
